When Was the Last Time You Measured Your Bra Size?
You should measure for bra size once a year.
If you have recently gained or lost weight you need to measure your bra size.
Pregnant and nursing mothers should measure more often as normal pregnancy and post-pregnancy changes occur.
Step 1: Band Size
While wearing a bra measure around your ribcage, right under the bustline. Add 5 inches to an odd number and 4 inches to an even number.
Example Band Sizes: a) Measurement is 29" then 29" + 5" = 34" so your Band Size = 34" b) Measurement is 34" then 34" + 4" = 38" so Band Size = 38"
Step 2: Cup Size
Measure over the fullest part of the bust line. Subtract your band measurement from this measurement. If the difference is 1" your cup size is A, 2" difference is cup size B, 3" difference is cup size C, 4" difference is cup size D, 5" difference is cup size DD.
Example Cup Sizes: a) Measurement is 36" then 36" - 34" =2" so Cup Size is B b) Measurement is 41"then 41" - 38" =3" so Cup Size is C
