All of the Saltwater HX Series rods are designed to be fast-action, tip flex. Each saltwater rod has a clear dark blue finish and a heavy duty anodized aluminum reel seat. The HX Series "River Run" rods are very special. They were originally designed as the perfect rod for Great Lakes tributary fishing but they are gaining popularity for surf casting flies for East coast stripers and blues.
