Our new item inventory comes from major department stores such as Macy's, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom's. We actually shop, hand select and carefully choose every item we offer for sale.

It's possible for any item, whether it's new with tags or previously owned, to contain a flaw and we'll always indicate any flaws that we're aware of. If we've missed something, please give us the opportunity to remedy the situation.

We aren't experts in all items we sell, so if we've overlooked an important fact, or if you simply need exact measurements, please ask us!

All questions are replied to within 24 hours.

All items we sell are condition classified as follows:

• NWT: New with tags, not washed, worn or used
• NWOT: New without tags, not washed, worn or used
• Pristine (Like New): Previously owned, no evidence of wear
• Excellent: Previously owned, evidence of minor wash/wear
• Very Good: Previously owned, evidence of moderate wash/wear

Winter House is a smoke and pet free environment.

We provide approximate measurements. If you require exact measurements, please email us. Clothing measurements are taken with the garment flat and unstretched.

• Bust/chest: Measured across garment front from underarm to underarm and doubled.
• Sleeve length: Measured from shoulder seam to bottom of sleeve or cuff.
• Shoulder width: Measured across garment back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
• Blouse/shirt/sweater length: Measured from shoulder seam at collar down back to bottom hem.
• Waist: Measured across garment width at top of waist and doubled.
• Skirt Hips: Measured at 9 inches down from waist, across garment width and doubled.
• Skirt length: Measured from the top of waist to the bottom of hem.
• Pants Hips: Measured at 3 inches up from crotch, across garment width and doubled.
• Inseam: Measured from crotch to the bottom of hem.
• Front rise: Measured from crotch up the front to the top of waist.
• Back rise: Measured from crotch up the back to the top of waist.
• Leg width: Measured at hem of pant leg, from side seam to side seam.
