|I believe you are who you were.|
And that although we all grew older, we never "grew up"
The thrill of finding a much beloved toy again,
and sharing it with our children,
is the inspiration for Yesterday's Child.
The old poem perhaps says it best.
Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is full of woe.
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is gentle and giving.
Saturday's child works hard for its living.
And the child born on the sabbath day,
Is good and bright and bonny and gay...
But, we add,
Yesterday's Child, remembers when!
I hope you find an old friend here in our store today-
one who perhaps, like the velveteen rabbit,
has become real.
