Region codes and countries
For your information I have included below full details of Worldwide DVD & Blu-Ray Region Coding.
- Region 2 is the code used within the United Kingdom and Europe. Which also uses the PAL video system
- Region 0 and "ALL" PAL DVDs can also be played on UK and European DVD Players
For any other Region Code, and for NTSC video system DVDs, a multi region DVD player will be required by UK and European customers!

Regions for the Blu-ray standard:
A/1: The Americas (except Greenland), and their dependencies, East Asia (except mainland China and Mongolia), and Southeast Asia.
B/2: Africa, Middle East, Southwest Asia, Europe (except Belarus, Russia and Ukraine), Australia, New Zealand, and their dependencies.
C/3: Central Asia, East Asia (mainland China and Mongolia only), South Asia, Eastern Europe (Belarus, Russia and Ukraine only), and their dependencies.
