Welcome to Zoe’s Porch where I offer an eclectic assortment of this and that. I specialize in vintage items (books, decorative collectibles, ephemera, glassware, holiday items, jewelry, linens, souvenirs, toys, etc.), but offer new, used and custom items for today’s ballroom dancer, horse lover and scrapbooker as well. I have a nice selection of vintage equine figurines in addition to an ever-changing inventory of Breyer horses (both new and vintage).
I started selling on ebay two years ago. My original goal was to get rid of dusty old family treasures, but it was so much fun that I kept going. To date, I have sold over 1500 items on ebay (not everyone leaves feedback). And I have shipped to 31 different countries, all 50 of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
Selling on ebay gives me the perfect excuse to buy! My items come from estate sales, auctions, yard sales & flea markets. Some are purchased new, while others are from private collections. From cute baubles to finer collectibles, I never know what I’m going to find. I list new items constantly, so add me to your favorites list, stop by often and enjoy! Z

Descriptions
I am not an expert on anything. I try to describe my items as accurately and completely as I can (based on what I see, know or have been told) and to take photographs that accurately represent each item (not just make them look pretty). If I am aware of a flaw, I will mention it, but my evaluation of an item may be limited or different than yours. Please ask questions before bidding if you have concerns.
Vintage means old, used and not new. Items described as vintage have ‘experienced life” and have some “wrinkles” to show for it. They may be complete, functional and beautiful, but they won’t be perfect. The terms, perfect and vintage, are mutually exclusive.
Corrections and enhancements to my descriptions are welcome.
Bidding
I reserve the right to block bidders or remove bids if I do not feel a transaction will end with our mutual satisfaction.
Payment
Payment is due within 5 days of auction close. I accept PayPal.
Insurance
United States - Insurance is optional, but recommended, on most items as I can not be responsible for lost, damaged, stolen or fragile items once shipped. Insurance may be required on certain fragile or expensive items.
International - Insurance is not available.
Packing
I pack to protect your investment from normal crushing, bending, tearing, breakage, moisture and loss. I cannot protect it against freezing, melting, theft, vandalism, drowning, escape, Godzilla or postal shipping abuse.
Shipping
I ship directly from the United States Post Office (USPS) within two business days of receiving cleared payment. Generally, I ship the next or same day. Exceptions to this are weekends, holidays, vacations or personal emergencies. Delayed shipping due to vacations, away days or store closures will be announced in Zoe’s Porch and in individual listings.
Delivery time during the holidays (mid-November through mid-January) is generally slower than usual. I will pack & ship your items as quickly as possible, but cannot control the overload delays at the post office. Slower services (parcel post & media mail) are especially affected, so you may wish to reconsider these options during this time.
My goal is to ship your items to you as safely, quickly and inexpensively as possible. I research shipping options and will generally offer more than one choice. Exceptions to this are for fragile, expensive or unusual items.
Shipping & handling charges cover postage, United States tracking and packing supplies. In an effort to keep charges to a minimum, I buy in bulk and recycle clean packing materials.
I use ebay’s shipping calculator. It works beautifully as long as I program it correctly. If specified shipping charges seem extreme, I may have made a mistake in my listing, so feel free to ask questions about it before bidding. Also, I final pack your purchases after they have been paid for. If I find I was “high” on my initial calculations, I will refund any overage accordingly.
I combine shipping whenever possible. Please wait for a combined invoice before paying. Combined shipping may occasionally exclude original shipping options (for example, two 1st class items may exceed 1st class weight limits when combined).
International Buyers
I program heavier listings into the ebay calculator by the pound, but international first class shipping rates change every few ounces. Because of this, your calculated (billed) shipping & handling charges may be higher than actual shipping & handling charges. If that occurs, I will refund the overage once your item has shipped.
Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts". It is prohibited by US and international government regulations.
Communication
I will confirm your purchase, payment, mailing address and ship date.
Feedback
I leave feedback once buyer feedback is received.
