About us
Welcome to our AM Ranch eBay store. We are a working cattle ranch located in the Hamakua region along the Big Island's northern coast. The ranch encompasses one of Hawaii's few remaining native Koa forests, most of which have been severely degraded by many generations of agricultural activity and human encroachment. We've placed this land into a conservation program to stop the degradation and restore the Koa forest ecosystem back to it's former health.
We are operating a fully-integrated reforestation, harvesting and milling operation and all Koa wood offered for sale is milled exclusively from old growth trees on the ranch. The trees being milled are either a) downed by storms, or b) targeted for removal due to age-related decline and to promote the health of the surrounding trees in the forest. The proceeds from our Koa sales are directly applied to our conservation/reforestation activities and help offset some of the costs of running the conservation program.
