The item must be returned in good condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork and accessories to ensure credit. A return form with instructions is included in your original packaging.
- When the returned item is received, the value of your returned item will be credited back as soon as our Returns Department has completed processing your return (usually within 2 weeks).
- Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser.
- Items ordered on eBay can only be returned directly to Alternative's Distribution Center in Norcross, GA and will not be accepted by Alternative stores or retailers that sell Alternative.
- Please note that we cannot process returns from retail stores and other online retailers.

Notice of Defects
Customer is responsible for inspecting the merchandise upon receipt. Customer shall notify Seller in writing WITHIN 30 DAYS OF CUSTOMER'S RECEIPT OF THE MERCHANDISE of any claims for damages resulting from late delivery or any defect in the merchandise discovered by Customer, including, without limitation, claims related to shortages, quality, or specification. Seller shall not be responsible for shortages when shipments are directed to a third party other than Customer. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SELLER ACCEPT CLAIMS OR RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE WHICH HAS BEEN ALTERED, LAUNDERED OR MODIFIED IN ANY MANNER. All damaged or incorrect items will need to be sent back to Alternative for a credit.
Returns and Cancellations
Authorized returns must be postmarked within 30 days after Customer's receipt of merchandise. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by a completed Return Form. Customer will be responsible for all freight and shipping charges on items returned that are not the result of Seller's error. Alternative is not responsible for lost shipments on items being returned. Returns will not be accepted on merchandise that has been altered, laundered or modified in any way. All damaged or incorrect items will need to be sent back to Alternative for a refund. Alternative will send a prepaid shipping label to Customer for the damaged or incorrect item to be sent back to Alternative.
