Plugs
- Plugs are short, cylinder-shaped pieces worn mostly in the ears but can be used in almost any stretched piercing. Most plugs have flared ends to hold them in place but there are also “single flared” and “straight” plugs. Plugs can be made from Horn, Bone, Wood, Shell or Stone. Tunnels
- Tunnels are hollow plugs, worn mostly in the ears but can be used in almost any stretched piercing. Most tunnels have flared ends to hold them in place but there are also “single flared” and “straight” tunnels. Some people choose to wear tunnels instead of plugs because they weigh less, especially at larger sizes and are “see thru”. Tunnels may be worn with other designs such as ball closure rings or other objects passed through them. Stirrups / Earrings
- Stirrups are handmade earrings in many various designs and generally have a shorter more compact design than hanging sculptured earrings for example. Can be made from Horn, Bone, Wood, Shell or Stone. Sculptured earrings are generally larger hanging designs made in a multitude of lengths and design varieties. Hooks
- Hooks can be used for almost any piercing depending on the design – commonly used for septums and ear piercings they come in a huge variety of designs and sizes. Distinguished simply by an overall hook shape itself these often also have integral complicated designs hanging below the hook. Can be made from Horn, Bone, Wood, Shell or Stone. Pinchers
- Also referred to as Circulars or Crescents these are basically C-shaped organics in various designs, lengths and diameters normally worn in the ears, septums and eyebrows but can be worn in almost any piercing. Spikes
- Similar to tapers these are straight needle shapes used for stretching and normally come in sizes from 14G thru to 00G and sometimes larger. They come in Horn, Bone, Wood, Shell or Stone and are not uncommon in stretched piercings. Organics "breathe" better than metal or plastics preventing the build up of sebum in the enlarged fistula. Spirals
- Shaped as the name suggests spirals again are most commonly worn in the ears but can be worn in almost any piercing they are available in from Horn, Bone, and Wood. Talons
- Also called claws they are similar in shape to an eagles talon and come in sizes of 14G up to 3” made from Shell, Horn, Bone and Wood. - Also called loops these are made from Horn, Bone and Wood and as the name suggests are of a shape which turns and crosses over itself. Made in sizes from 14G thru to 3” from Wood, Horn and Bone they can be used for most piercings and come in short to quite long lengths.
