Bath Decor Tip from Bob!

One of most frequently redecorated rooms in the house is the bathroom.  It is relatively simple to create a whole new look and you don’t have to spend a fortune.  Even if you are stuck with a dated tile color or floor, you can add a new shower curtain and complimentary colors to create a wonderful retreat. 

Say you have an older home that has pink tile on the walls and floor. Get creative, by finding an updated complimentary color like a turquoise blue, you can create an updated feel by accenting with the new color.  Find a shower curtain that blends the old and new color and work from there. Add bath rugs in the turquoise blue and bath towels in the same shade.  Then hang some pink hand towels over the blue bath towels…..I think you get the idea.  Soon you will add something special to your home that is updated and pleasing. 

Typically bathrooms are very contained spaces within the home.  This also gives you the opportunity to do something unexpected in the space.   Themeing this space can be fun.   You can choose anything from Beach Nautical looks to Country or clean Urban feels.
