If this is your first time here, I'm glad you found me. I'm Claudine, the founder of the store, and that's me in the photo doing my best Audrey Hepburn.
For the last five years I have sourced authentic vintage clothing direct from original owners around the globe. I think of vintage clothes as living diaries that tell the stories of their owners and eras; for example, a vintage dress is more than a dress: it is the dress a woman wore on her first date with the man she married, or the piece worn on an unforgettable holiday. I consider it my business to know the history, provenance and origin of every item I sell so the buyer can add his or her own chapter to its narrative.
Some of my items are expensive; others don't even have a brand name. That is because I am passionate about style and quality, not brand or price. If my prices appear high, consider the quality and originality they reflect. Browse other sites first and compare the value for your dollar. I want to be the last place you shop.
Please use my store as a vintage resource: ask questions, learn the history of what you buy, and make special requests. If I don't have what you're looking for, I will find it or find someone who can.
