SHIPPING & HANDLING
Orders will ship within one week of receipt of payment. We try to ship earlier, same day if possible, but our custom-finished or handmade items can take longer. We can not promise a shorter handling time for these types of items. If our general handling time is too long for you, email us before bidding and we will let you know the fastest we can handle the transaction. Shipping charges include delivery confirmation. Insurance is available on most listings. We are not responsible for damage or holdups in transit. Contact us for international shipping options and info, particularly if you are ordering multiple items.

PLEASE INSURE YOUR ITEMS!

We have no control over the post office or any other delivery service.  The method of shipment most requested by our customers is United States Post Office (USPS) First Class Mail with out insurance.  This service offers NO tracking at ALL and without insurance it does not offer any option to replace or return items in case of loss of damage.  Please do not choose a shipping method without insurance and then expect us to replace the order for free.

As of March 29, 2009 we now have the ability to provide INSURANCE on FIRST CLASS MAIL packages shipping INTERNATIONALLY.  This service is offered through a private insurance company by Endica.  This is good news – we have been considering the possibility of not being able to ship packages internationally because PayPal, unlike eBay requires proof of delivery in cases of lost packages. Therefore, all International sales are required to purchase either insurance or priority mail (insurance is included in International Priority Mail).  Insurance on orders up to $100 is $2.10 – we will be reflecting this cost in our auctions shipping and handling over the next few weeks.

To gain the security of tracking you will need to upgrade to Priority Mail.  We offer priority mail as an option on all of our international orders.  If we did not offer it, please request this option.

COMBINED SHIPPING OFFERED

We are happy to combine shipping for multiple items when an invoice is requested.  In some case, certain types of items, such as candles are too heavy for combined shipping.  Payment is due within three days of item end unless you contact us for other arrangements. 

 

WE ONLY combine shipping for UNPAID items on an Invoice Request. 

1. Please REQUEST AN INVOICE when you are done shopping.  We will combine the shipping cost and send you a request for payment.
2. Once you make payment on an item or several items, we will not combine shipping for future items, even those purchased the same day. 
3. We try to pack and ship FAST, often that means with in an hour of your payment. 
4. (In some very rare cases we are able add the item to a prior order, but we do not offer a discount on the shipping in those cases.)

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due within three days of listing end.  At this time we are only accepting PayPal as a payment method.

I will happily hold any item for you while you shop over a period of days.  All I ask is that you send me a note and let me know.  I know many of us are going from pay day to pay day in these difficult times.  Please shop as you like and we can settle up once your done or on a day your ready to make payment.  Again, just let me know.

RETURNS
Sales on all products, including mojo bags, are final. If there is a problem with your purchase on arrival, please contact us; if we have misrepresented an item or shipping services or made a mistake, we can work with you on store credit, exchange or refund (minus shipping). If you have questions, ask them before bidding -- we answer our email.

DISCLAIMERS
None of our herbs or herbal mixtures is intended for human consumption unless labeled so. Please keep away from children and pets and use common sense. In respect for the laws of our state of residence, we make no claim for the spiritual or magical worth of any of our products, and sell them as CURIOS ONLY.

However we do use them ourselves and swear by them. We are happy to answer questions about items and services. We attempt to answer all email inquiries within 48 hours. In many cases of regular store inventory items, including but not limited to herbs, roots, curios, etc, the picture on this listing is not for the exact item we will ship to you.  We provide every item from Lucky Mojo as delivered. 

The Lucky Mojo disclaimer on herbs and roots reads:
"Rather than continually updating our prices based on the cost of herbs (which fluctuate depending on weather conditions, political situations, and crop failures), we have decided to keep all the prices [generally] uniform and to vary the weight by the type of herb and its rarity.

Generally the green herbs will completely stuff full one of our 3" x 5" packets, while brown roots will have about half that volume, due to their greater density and the fact that the plants must be sacrificed in order to gather the roots. Some rare and slow-growing roots (such as Ginseng and Golden Seal) will be supplied in very small quantities, yet still sufficient to perform a spell or add them to a mojo bag."

We at Black Cat Root Shack have found that of the Lucky Mojo herbs and roots we stock, the quantities are sufficient for our needs and the needs of our clients.  If you absolutely must have a specific known weight of an item, please contact us, and we will provide  you with the weights of the packages we have in stock.
