OUR GRADING POLICY:

Our grading is based on international grading
standards ("Goldmine"
Magazine), although we occasionally use an additional grade ("excellent")
in borderline cases where we are unable to determine if the item is very good
plus (VG+) or near mint (NM) . We
strive to provide as accurate and up-to-date information on labels, pressings,
print variations, item history and current availability as we can, based on reputable
sources at our disposal, as well as our own 30+- year experience in collecting
records.
However, because music collecting is often subject to
human bias, misinterpretation, contradictory and mutually exclusive claims and
newly available information, we extend or imply NO guarantee as to the
accuracy of the label, pressing, or similar related data contained in this
auction. If you are a prospective bidder and feel that we have inadvertently
provided inaccurate, misleading or outdated information, or if you simply have
any questions regarding our grading, description or condition of the item, we
encourage you to contact us through eBay for correction as soon as possible,
and not later than 24 hours before to the end of the auction. Wherever
possible, we will provide JPG or BMP image of the cover or label upon request.
We will NEVER
deliberately and willingly provide a false, deceitful or misleading
information.
Unless otherwise noted, all items are graded visually. Please understand that it is not humanly possible to
play-grade hundreds of items at a time.
We attempt to grade all items FAIRLY, HONESTLY AND CONSERVATIVELY;
however, we do NOT believe in "no-record-can-ever-be-mint"
grading standards. If you have any doubts that our grading is up to your
standards - or if you are known for excessively rigorous or particularly
demanding grading - please contact us for possible clarification
of our grade BEFORE placing your bid.
ITEMS, SPECIFICS AND FEATURES WE DO NOT GRADE OR SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBE:
In the conduct of our business we grade the condition
of the record and cover, as most professionals do. The following is the listing
of the items that we do not SPECIFICALLY describe or grade, but which we
USUALLY note in our auctions in one way
or another:
(1)
Shrink
wrap (cellophane wrap).
On still sealed items or items which are still wholly or partially covered in
shrink wrap, some portions of the wrap may be frayed, torn or missing. We may,
at our discretion, indicate that parts of the wrap are missing but without any
obligation on our part to do so. The appearance of the shrink wrap should not
affect the visual appearance or aesthetic integrity of the underlying item.
(2)
Inserts,
booklets, lyrics sheets, stickers, decals, bonuses/extras and similar accompanying
details: We will
specifically indicate in our auction whether the listed item includes or not
any extras or bonuses; if our description does NOT expressly mention any
such detail or element, the buyer should assume that the item we are selling
does NOT come with the detail it originally featured. As long as these
peripheral elements and details of the package are present and not otherwise
grossly damaged, we will NOT separately grade or describe their
condition, except at our sole discretion.

Labels: We will, as a
matter of policy, note all defects on the labels: stickers, stamps, writing,
peel-off marks and alike. However, because we consider the actual condition of
the vinyl or cover more important than the label, and the label condition to be
of secondary importance, our description of the label is cursory (and often
perfunctory), and may be prone to mistake or omission. If you feel that the
label integrity is of paramount importance to you, please contact us for
additional information or clarification BEFORE placing your bid.
(4)
CD Cases ("jewel cases") are neither graded nor described separately. We will,
at our discretion, replace the original plastic case with a brand-new case in
case the original case is broken or otherwise not functioning properly.
(5)
Stock (generic) LP album inner sleeves; are NEVER graded or described separately. Images of
the stock (thumbnailed) inner sleeves shown on our auction pages are almost
always stock images, taken from our previous auctions, and are included on
the auction page for illustration and reference purposes ONLY. These images may
or may not reflect the actual condition of the inner sleeve As long as at least 90% of the inner sleeve is
intact, we will not dwell on the condition on the inner sleeve or provide
additional information, unless specifically asked to. If the original inner
sleeve is seriously damaged, we may, at our discretion, replace the original
stock inner sleeve with a plain, white, generic inner sleeve.
