Q. I am interesting in purchasing a Free Weekly certificate, what do I do?
A. For Free Weekly Certificates, follow the below steps to ensure a smooth transaction.

Confirm location participation for your dates and rental location. Do not bid if your rental takes place within 14 days from the auction end date.

Purchase the certificate. If you do not win the auction, try Buy Now or bid when the item is re-listed.

Once you receive the certificate, modify your reservation with the coupon number by calling our reservation center at 800-527-0700.

Surrender coupon at the counter at the time of rental.

Enjoy your rental.
Q. What does the Free Weekly certificate cover?
A. The certificate covers the base rate of the rental. Taxes and Fees are not included and are the responsibility of the renter. Taxes and fees can be researched through our Reservation page.
Q. How do I verify if a location is a participating location?
A. Note the blackout dates and the terms within the item description and confirm Corporate Location participation by clicking Here.
Q. Can this be used on rentals lasting less than 5-days?
A. These weekly certificates may only be used on rentals with a minimum length of 5-days. This is not negotiable and any rentals returned early, will be charged full price at the going daily rate. Any rentals lasting more than 7-days will be subject to extra charges per day at the going daily rate. Certificates will not be refunded.
Q. I have modified the reservation with my coupon code and the rate has not changed. Am I doing something wrong?
A. For Free Weekly Coupons, the base rate that appears within a reservation is adjusted to zero at the rental counter. No adjustment will occur prior to the rental date. For Dollars Off Coupons, the rate will be adjusted at the rental counter. The discount will not appear in the reservation.
Q. How do I know that this certificate is real and where can I use it.
A. These certificates were created and distributed by Budget Rent A Car, exclusively for the Budget Rent A Car eBay Store. These certificates are only accepted at corporate locations within the 48 contiguous states (outside of the NY Metro Area), unless stated otherwise within the auction.
Q. What is the certificate code?
A. We cannot distribute the certificate code to customers. For Free Weekly Certificates the certificate code will be released to the customers only when they purchase the certificate. Dollars Off Coupons will be emailed following the end of the auction. Once we confirm receipt of payment, Budget will then ship the physical certificate to the customer. The customer will be able to view the coupon code once they receive the certificate. The customer will need to enter the coupon code when they make their reservation. In addition, they will be required to present/surrender the certificate at time of pickup.
Q. How do I use this certificate once I win the auction?
A. Make a Reservation as soon as possible. After receiving the coupon, contact the reservation center 800-527-0700 and modify your existing reservation with the coupon number. If you prefer to wait to make a reservation until the coupon is received, enter the coupon number in Step 3 of the Reservation process. The coupon must then be presented/surrendered to the counter rep at the time of rental.
Q. What happens if I paid for a certificate and have not received it?
A. Contact us immediately through “Contact Seller” or “Ask Seller a Question”. Any questions asked over the weekend usually get addressed first thing Monday morning.
Q. Are you able to apply these certificates for One Way rentals?
A. No. These certificates can not be applied towards any One Way rentals.
Q. Can you combine these certificates with other offers?
A. No. These certificates cannot be used in combination with these certificates or with other offers.
Q. Do you have any other great offers?
A. We are constantly working to increase our inventory. Sign up for our email newsletters to learn about new certificates as we add them to our inventory. Q. Are there age restrictions on rentals?
