The highly collectible stadium and speedway replicas are made of wood, three and four layers laminated together to a depth of between 1" and 1-1/4". This lamination of layers makes the stadiums and speedways exceptionally three-dimensional. The center layer is the "spacer" creating the fantastic dimensional look. A unique feature of these stadiums is that the further back you view them from, the more dimensional they become. Remember: they are made to be viewed from a distance. While they look great up close, it is when you view them from a distance that you see the exceptional depth--it is like looking into the stadium itself. They measure between 8" and 9" wide and are approximately 4" high.
The design you see on the front starts with an aerial photo of the stadium. After many hours of design and artwork, the new photo is superimposed onto the layers of wood. On the back of each piece is a short history of the stadium and/or team. They are individually boxed with corresponding colored tissue.
