Denver Dachshunds Rescue and Transport is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. DDRT is dedicated to helping Dachshunds and other small breeds nationwide. In 2014 alone, over 500 unwanted and discarded dogs, pets whose owners were no longer able to care for them, or dogs warehoused as breeding stock in puppy mills will have been placed in loving forever homes. Our goal is to prevent animal shelter overcrowding through public education on responsible breeding practices and the importance of spaying and neutering pets.
