I am Murv Jacob- an artist, writer and illustrater- and the proud owner of JACOB GALLERY- The top art studio for 20 years in Tahlequah and actually in all of OKLAHOMA----- and a tiny but interesting ebay store----- earthport murvopolis. You can buy rare and very collectible items---- such as 1930's art deco toys. It has taken a long time for the futuristic art deco american toys of the 1920s and 1930s to be recognized for what they are, limited edition sculptures.  If I'm not there please leave a detailed message, your questions, ideas, and business are of course very important to us.

     I paint draw or sculpt every day. I've worked on over 100 book and video projects for the likes of Time-Life, Nat'l Geographic, Harper Collins, Bantam/Doubleday, Univ. of New Mexico Press, and OU Press. I've painted probably 5,000 paintings in my 43 year career and I have painted more bears than anyone that has ever lived. For twenty years I have shared a magnificent life with the brilliant author Deborah Duvall. We have grown five children, one in Austin TX, one in Calgary, three in beautiful Tahlequah.
