On occasion, eBay will run auctions to test various functionality on the site. These test auctions will always be titled "Test Item; Please Do Not Bid" or some variation of this. These auctions are not selling anything, they are merely tests.
Sellers have the right to set their own prices independently, but some manufacturers place restrictions on how these prices will be displayed or communicated to others.
