The operators of Games Hobbies World have been running successful traditional and internet based businesses for many years. Our eBay store provides you with quality products at great prices within the games and hobbies sector, offering bonuses that are not provided by any other eBay merchants.
Unlike some eBay sellers, our aim is to make you, our customer, as delighted with receiving your purchase as we are in supplying it to you.
In our listings you will not find thinly veiled threats about nasty feedback, or exhortations not to bid unless you qualify – we are a quality, professional organisation, and we want to meet your needs and in fact exceed your expectations!
Our aim to please YOU, which will result in positive feedback for us. We ask you to contact us if you are not completely satisfied with the way we have conducted your transaction so that we may immediately rectify any problem.
Payment
We request that you make payment for your item within 5 business days of receiving an email from us, indicating you have won an item through eBay, otherwise we will have to assume you changed your mind.
Payment can be made from your PayPal account, Credit Card (through PayPal), Bank Account (through Paypal), at any Westpac branch over the counter, Internet Banking Transfer, Money Orders or Cheque (written in Australian dollars and drawn on a Australian bank). All payments must be cleared prior to dispatch of goods. (Please be aware that with cheques this can take over 3 business days after it is banked.)
There are two ways you can pay using direct deposit / bank transfer:
1. You can transfer payment to us using Internet Banking
2. You can deposit funds into our account at any Westpac branch
Always ensure you enter your eBay username or last six digits of item number as the transfer description. Bank account details for transfer will be provided when you check out.
If paying by cheque or money order please reference the eBay item number provided to you at the completion of checkout process. Also, be sure to include the shipping charges. The payment mailing address will be provided when you check out.
All prices include GST, and a tax invoice is included in your parcel when it is posted to you.
Shipping
Games Hobbies World post all orders within 2-4 days of receiving cleared payment by any of the methods described above.
We generally post our items on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If your payment is cleared after 12noon on these days, they will be posted on the next posting day.
If purchase and payment are made and cleared on the weekend, we will post your item to you on Monday.
If you wish to purchase multiple items from us (that are listed separately for sale), wait until the last item completes, and then let us know by requesting a total, and we will combine the purchases on a single invoice and apply a combined postage discount.
All items over $40 will be sent by Australia Post using Registered Mail. For buyers outside Australia, items will be sent using Air Mail. Additional insurance up to the value of the item is recommended and will be available upon checkout. If you choose not to purchase additional insurance, then the buyer assumes all risk for the item once it has been transferred to the Carrier (Australia Post or other courier services).
For Registered Post and Courier shipments, you will be emailed your tracking number as soon as your item is posted.
All items are shipped from our warehouse in Melbourne. Due to occupational, health & safety policies, unfortunately we don’t allow pick ups from the warehouse.
The postage cost applied to your item includes our handling fee and packing costs.
Warranty & Return Policy
All our new products come with the full manufacturers warranty (second hand or non-warranty items will be clearly noted in the product description).
The warranty is a return to base warranty, meaning that any faulty items must be returned to us with shipping charges prepaid. We cannot accept COD or unpaid deliveries. We will then return the repaired item to you with return shipping charges prepaid.
Where an item cannot be repaired, a replacement item will be sent.
Approval to return an item under warranty must be granted before an item is returned. This warranty does not cover transit damage or damage caused by neglect or misuse of the product. This includes not using the item within its recommended limits, or not adhering to the recommended usage guidelines contained within the product user guide.
