GRADING AND CONDITION

All records have been thoroughly cleaned. Set price 45s are visually graded and many are play graded (this will be noted). Auction 45s are visually graded and test played on a well-maintained, high-quality turntable. LPs are generally visually graded only. Warped, worn or visually questionable records are test played as well for evaluation; and that will be shown in the comments. All 45s are in plain white paper sleeves, unless original or era  company sleeve is included. Protective poly-sleeves are also included. Label, cover, and sleeve conditions will be shown. My surface grading is fairly standard. But, in general, for visual grading:
NM (Near Mint) means high gloss surface, with virtually no superficial imperfections. Noise floor should be very low.
VG++ (EX) indicates surface is still high gloss, but with some storage scuffs, a few light scratches or very light wear. Should play with few low pops or crackles, if any, and may have some noise on lead in.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) is a step down, glossy, but with more light wear, scuffing or light scratches and a bit more surface noise that may be evident at the start and/or in quieter passages.
VG (Very Good) means item is more worn or was not carefully stored. It has gloss but shows more groove wear, scuffs, scratches or other boo-boos that may produce more noticeable surface noise.
VG- (Very Good Minus) indicates the record is quite worn or scratched up, but still playable and worth having, if funky looks and/or moderate surface noise (snap, crackle, pop, sizzle) are acceptable to you. I do not offer many records at or below VG- grade, unless they play well and are not too noisy.
G (Good) means none too good, but there may be rare records that are still playable without skipping or jumping, but may be appreciably warped, ragged or worn. Expect higher surface noise level. Again, I ususally do not offer anything in G condition; but if I do, flaws and sound will be well-described
