WHY IS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING SO EXPENSIVE?

Shipping internationally requires more time, work, forms, attention to detail and risk than domestic shipping. It is as simple as that.
As of May 12th, 2008 the United States Postal Service (USPS) has changed their prices and shipping methods yet again. Less options, higher costs but still only a fraction of what UPS and FedEx charge. USPS prices will change again in 2009!

Brandnew is paypal's policy change regarding the seller protection policy. If you live abroad, we can now allow you to pay with paypal under one condition: You will have to pay for express mail. If you want to have your item shipped with priority mail, you will still have to do a bank transfer. Certain countries such as Brazil, Italy, Taiwan, Korea, Spain, Hungary or countries where shipments miraculously disappear according to our statistics and experience will have to use the express option.

We update our listings to reflect those changes. By default, we will ship via USPS International Priority. Rates start at $12 for Canada and $18 for the rest of the world.

There is absolutely no tracking possible for this method of shipping - it is cheap, and cheap doesn't get you tracking.
If you want to be able to track your shipment, you have several options:

• Send us your UPS, FedEx or DHL account number so that you get charged accordingly and see how much it costs.
• Pay for USPS Express Shipping. Rates vary per country and weight, you can find rates on the usps dot com site.

We do charge a $5 handling fee for these options as they require us to go out of our way and spend even more time on the shipment.

Please research or ask for shipping rates to your country ahead of time. We generally include international estimates in the ebay shipping calculator as well.
We strongly advise you insure your shipment! If you don't and it gets damaged or lost, we are unable to file a claim with the shipping company.
We reserve the right to refuse service to certain countries with known postal issues - we do not ship to Mexico for that reason.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING CUSTOMS AND DUTY:

Your order will not include customs fees, duty, taxes or brokerage fees that are incurred for the package in order to clear customs in your country. These fees are different in each country. To find out what the fees are for your country, please contact your national customs office. Again, please remember we do not govern what your country customs agency will charge you to clear the goods we ship to you and we are not responsible for any part of this amount.
