If
you have any questions or need to contact me, please send an email
through your eBay account messaging service. While although I may not be
able to respond immediately, I do generally respond within 24 hours
unless it's a major holiday or my store is closed for vacation.
Return Policy
Since
this is a small eBay store all sales are considered final and returns are generally not accepted however,
if a mistake or error is made on my part every effort will be made to
correct it as soon as possible which may include the return of an
item(s). In the unlikely event that you find a mistake has been made
please contact me within 3 days after receiving your order and I will
try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Customer satisfaction is a
priority and I will go the extra mile if given the chance.
Invoicing
eBay should automatically calculate totals with shipping after your purchase and include all available combined shipping discounts. If you would like to wait for a seller invoice, I generally send those within 24 hours after finalized purchase(s) or you can also send me an eBay "payment request". If you have muliple item purchases and intend to make more please send me a quick message after you have completed all purchases and a new invoice will be issued. I do ask that all multiple item purchases be made within 7 days of each other to avoid confusion.
Combined Shipping Discounts
In order to qualify for my combined shipping discounts, one
payment must be made for all items at the same time. If more than one
payment is made, orders can not be combined. The combined shipping
discounts are automatically calculated starting with the highest listed shipping price plus a small fee for
each additional qualifying lot.
(Example: shipping costs for 2 small Lego toy lots would be $2.75 +
$0.05 = $2.80). If an item is marked with "FREE" shipping, no additional charge will apply. Also, since I sell items of all shapes and sizes, not all
items can receive combined shipping discounts. If you have questions
about specific items please send me an email and I can give you a more
detailed quote.
Payment
I accept payment by PayPal.
Paypal echeck payments
If
paying for your order with a PayPal echeck, the order will not ship
until after cleared payment has been deposited into my PayPal account.
Telephone Number Requirement
My settings do require telephone numbers with shipping addresses in order to finalize payment. The only reason I require this is because all my shipping postage is printed online and the service I use requires phone numbers for international destinations. eBay currently will not let me choose this requirement for domestic or international customers, it's all or none and I simply cannot change it at this time. If you are a domestic customer, then I would agree to send a separate PayPal bill upon request if you do not have or wish to provide a phone number - this option is for United States residents only.
Delivery timesThe
expected delivery time given on eBay once cleared payment has been
received is an estimate based on the average delivery time of the
selected service given by the United States Postal Service. Keep in mind
that it is only an estimate and not a guarantee, there are too many
factors involved that can delay a package and therefor I will not
guarantee a specific time of delivery.Handling timeWhile this can be a full-time job for me, I am just one person with a small
eBay store and another job which does not allow me to ship on a daily
basis. After receiving cleared payment, my stated handling time is 3
business days for domestic mailing (I generally mail international orders 1 to 2 times per week and figure international handling time at 4 business days), this means in almost all cases I ship within that period of
time unless illness or other life events intervene. Also, please understand that business days do not include evenings, weekends or holidays -
these days and times are not factored in and should not be counted as
part of the handling time.Shipment Confirmation NoticesA
shipment confirmation email will be sent through eBay with all mailing
details after the package has been mailed (If you have not received this
information within 3-4 business days, please check your email spam
filter or junk box or send us a quick email request and we'll resend
this information as soon as possible). Also, delivery confirmation,
signature confirmation and any tracking numbers will be updated on the
eBay item page in the "view order details" section.Delivery ConfirmationAll
my packages mailed within the United States will include a delivery
confirmation number unless it's an item mailed 1st Class in a regular
envelope, in this case the service would not be included. Delivery
Confirmation: Provides date, time and place of delivery. Delivery
confirmation numbers are to be scanned by the postman upon the delivery
of the package(s) - status information may be provided while the package
is en route, but it is not a regular feature of the service and is not a
tracking number that can determine the location of a package.Policy for loss or damageMy
policy for loss or damage aligns with that of the United States Postal
Service. The post office is generally reliable, but sometimes packages
are delayed for some unknown reason or even lost, please understand that
once the post office has my packages in their possession it is beyond
my control what happens to them. And while I've had packages arrive up
to 2 months later, I will need to wait at least 3 weeks after the
shipment date before taking action. USPS states that any domestic claims
for loss or article not received should be filed no sooner than 21 days
after the date of mailing and no later than 180 days from that date. If
you haven't received your order please let me know and I will do my
best to get all the information regarding that shipment to you as soon
as possible, please do not file "item not received" cases against me. I
respond to all my emails and will work with you until issues are
resolved, however if a claim needs to be filed with the post office I do
need to follow their time-frame and procedures. Any claims that need to
filed for damage or missing contents should be filed immediately, but
no later than 60 days from the date of mailing. Please let me know right
away if you order was damaged and I will take the appropriate action.Extra ServicesFrom
time to time extra services may be provided, these are mainly upon
request and cost additional funds beyond the stated shipping prices.
Such services include USPS Express Mail, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Registered Mail and
Signature Confirmation. If you would like an extra service such as these
please contact me prior to making your purchase to determine if they
will be available to you.eBay's Underage User Policy
You must be at least 18 years old to be an eBay member. A person under 18 can use an adult's account with the permission of the account holder. However, the account holder is responsible for everything done with that account. Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don’t, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.
UPI Cases & Non-Payment
Unpaid Item Cases (UPI) will be filed for all purchases that do not result in payment. If you bid on an item or purchase an item your account is responsible for the outcome of a purchase whether you complete the transaction or not. Unfortunately, too many buyers have taken advantage of my generosity when it comes to "mistaken" purchases or a "change of mind" when they decide not to complete a purchase. In the past, I have agreed to cancel transactions if a mistake has been made by the buyer which would in no way penalize them however, that opens me up as the seller to losing money for listing & final closing fees as well as the possibility of receiving poor feedback - even if the buyer has no intention of sending payment. I do not like to do it this way, but I am trying to run a business and I simply can not continue to lose money for purchases that fail to be completed.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERSCharges Beyond eBay for International purchasesAny
import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or
shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please
check with your country's customs office for details prior to
purchasing. Also, I will not enter a value less than the original
purchase price or mark "gift" on customs forms - doing so is against
U.S. and international laws.International Shipping Costs - PLEASE READ
Postage rates for international customers should be listed for items that I will ship outside the United States. If a shipping total for your country is not provided then more than likely that is a lot that I will not ship to your country.
Also for international customers, please understand that as of January 2013 the United States Postal Service has increased postage rates substantially and it will cost more for people in the United States to mail packages to you. Please do not leave poor feedback or poor DSR’s (detailed seller ratings) because my shipping rates have increased, as my costs increase to mail so will my rates and I simply have no control over this.
International Delivery times
Delivery
times of packages mailed internationally can vary quite a bit. I
generally estimate that a package mailed from the United States by USPS
1st Class International may arrive within 2-5 weeks, sometimes it can be
quicker and sometimes it can take longer. I have no control and can not
be responsible for delays and issues in other countries when it comes
to the delivery of 1st Class Mail, if you would like a safer service with insurance or a quicker service, USPS
Registered Mail, Priority Mail International or Express Mail International services may be available upon request.
International Handling time
Since I need to travel to a post office farther away that will accommodate international mail, I generally ship these orders only 1 to 2 times per week and figure international handling time at (4) business days after receiving cleared payment.
Telephone Number Requirement
My settings require telephone numbers with shipping addresses for all international customers who reside outside the United States in order to finalize payment for their purchase. Since my shipping postage is all printed online and the service I use requires this for all international destinations, I must also require this, sorry no exceptions.
Countries that I do NOT ship to
Due to shipping & delivery issues the following is a list of countries that I will NOT ship to: Mexico, Germany, Italy, Central & South America, Czech Republic, Russian Federation, Africa, and the Middle East. Several more smaller countries are also excluded, for the complete list please view the shipping "exclusions" on any one of my item pages.
Actual eBay stated definitions
"Cleared payment" means that the funds from the buyer's payment have been deposited into the seller's PayPal account.
"Handling time" is how long it will take the seller to ship the item to the buyer after cleared payment has been deposited into the seller's account.
"Business days" are weekdays—Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays do not count as business days.
