General conditions of sale

General conditons of sale are applicable on all sales (auctions / store items) of Joris_stamps on Ebay. They consist of 3 parts:

-         Statements on the decription of items.

-         Statements on payment.

-         Statements on shipping.

Please read them before you make purchases or bids.

Descripitons

1) Guarantee and description

All items offered for sale may be considered genuine and fault free unless otherwise described. If you are not entirely satisfied with the quality or authenticity of any item purchased, you may notify us within 10 days and if justified return the item for a  refund. However, any lots described as being "mixed condition", or "faulty", or specific condition of the lot, may not be returned, since the purchaser should already have taken these criteria into consideration when originally placing his/her bid. Photos and scans are part of the descriptions. 

2) Bidding, expertizing and claiming:

Expertizingcosts (incl. shippingcosts, to and from expertizer) are costs for the buyer. If an item is not oke we will refund the auction end price. No claims will be handled two months after auction end. Bidding is understanding and accepting the general conditions of sale, including payment and shipping. (see applicable pages in my store.)

3) Condition standards:

4) Quality standards:

• Superb  (best condition possible for this stamp)                      Superbe

• Fine (normal condition of this stamp, tiny faults)                    Vrijwel Pr. ex.

Payment

·         Please do not pay untill you get my invoice

Payment is due within 14 days after auction end, a reminder will be shipped within 14 day's if payment conditions are not met. Contact me before payment, if you are not sure which amount to pay.  (I  use Ebay checkout within 24 hours of auction end on all my sales).

·         I prefer PayPal

·         I accept bank transfer.

Bankcosts are for the buyer. Bank, Iban and Bic codes will follow in an personal mail if you turn out to be the winning bidder and bankpayment is your option to pay, no shared paymentcosts*  you choose: "ours".

·         No cheques or moneyorders! (none!)

Shipping

Shippingcosts depend on:  

·         The endprice of the item(s).

·         Handling (=converted in the shippingrates).

·         The packed (total) weight of your purchase.

·         The destination where to ship to.

All rates are to be found on the shippingcost page in my store.

1) Please note!

Lots with an auction endprice over $ 100,- are standard shipped registered. NO EXEPTIONS! The weight is mentioned in description. Countries to wich registration is not possible shippings are always on buyers risk.

2) Handling

No extra charges for multiple items, the total weight of your (combined) purchases and packing time determins your shipping fee.

3) Heavy lots / Packing material.

All my Items are well packed, protective material is converted in the shipping rates. My items will not arrive damaged at their destination. 

4) Speed

Shipping is done as fast as possible.  The item(s) are shipped immediately after reception of your payment! Mail me if you have any questions. Treat me, like you would like to be treated. No escrow and no shipping before full unconditional payment. Auctions cost money, so do not bid if you are not intending to pay. Fast payment will be followed with fast shipping, slack payment will result in slow shipment. Bank is checked twice a week, please have some patience.  Feedback will be left, please leave some for me!
