I have been an eBay seller for almost ten years -- using a couple of different ids, depending on my current business model.
Or in other words -- depending on my mood, and what I have to sell, I use different eBay ids. Currently I'm using this one for everything - less distracting for me.
A quick overview of ME -- 50ish year old woman living in Southern California with her husband of 25 years and a ton of dogs & cats! My day job is manager of a local THE UPS STORE and my favorite job is selling on eBay.
I try to add items to my inventory daily -- comic books, dvds, cds, books on all subjects, back issues of many magazines --I specialize in LIFE MAGAZINES, hobby & craft magazines and all kinds of other media items. In addition I'm blessed to have some terrific consignment customers with high end items I am selling for them -- everything from Hermes scarves to carousel horses to Willow Tree figurines.
Most items are listed with a flat rate shipping cost indicated. I do offer discounts on multiple items, as long as they are paid for in one payment. Just drop me an email (mandystreasures@gmail.com) and let me know to send you a multiple item invoice.
Depending on the item I use USPS and UPS. For smaller items I use USPS. I ship all items with delivery confirmation -- but please remember that this 'service' offered by the United States Postal Service (USPS) only tracks delivery -- so it doesn't give you a day to day tracking of activity.
Because I work full time shipping other people's items, you'd think I'd be really fast at my own items, wouldn't you? And I try to be -- but please allow me a few days to ship your items, as sometimes the pesky day job just exhausts me.
I work hard to describe all items to the best of my ability. Please check the photos and the description before bidding. I leave feedback after I'm sure you've received your item and are happy with it. Please let me know if there are any problems BEFORE you leave feedback. I'll be more than happy to discuss any issues with you and work with you to resolve them.
My home is non smoking -- and my inventory is kept separate from my pets, but it's impossible to prevent wisps of hair from zipping into storage boxes and closets.
And that about sums it up -- I'm a one woman operation. I scan or photograph each item myself, describe it, and answer any & all emails. I will admit I throw my weight around and have my store packer handle the packaging -- but everything else is in my hands. I take great pride in what I do -- and hope to make your experience with Mandystreasures a good one.
