Q: What types of vehicles can I purchase and bring into Canada?
A: There are no real restrictions on most vehicles that have been built from 1993 to present and they must meet U.S. and Canadian specs.
Q: What do I have to do as the buyer to get my car purchase into Canada?
A: Yes there are form and other paperwork you will need to get the vehicle into Canada. I can help you with that paperwork.
Q: Is there anything that I would have to do when I get to the border?
A: You will have to show all of the original documents for the vehicle and they must match all of the documents that were faxed at least 72 hours before you plan to cross at the border.
Q: Do I have to pay any fees to cross over at the border?
A: Yes there are some small fees that will need to be paid at the border and they must be paid by credit card only.
Q: What do I have to do after the vehicle enters Canada?
A: If you need to make any modification like day time running lights that will have to be done before the vehicle can pass Canadian inspection. You have 45 day to complete any modifications from the date the vehicle enters Canada. |
