Q: How do you guys make them look so cool?
Well, first of all, they're handcrafted in the USA! Not assembled in a factory - but carefully handcrafted, and as a result, each one may have minor imperfections and tiny flaws which differ from sign to sign - inconsistencies in the distressing or the finish - this helps give them their unique charm. They're not factory-perfect, so they are not boring. They have character, and they look as though they have a long history!
Q: What are they made of?
They're not metal, but instead they are made of wood. They have a very unique look and a special charm other signs just can't match! Made possible by modern technology, they start as a high-quality digital print and then they are bonded to tempered hardboard (like Masonite or a clipboard) sanded and stained and topped with a clear plastic finish.
Q: Why are they for indoor use only?
This is because they are made of wood and paper and ink and glue. They should be treated like any piece of art. If you take care of them - avoid sunlight, keep them dry, and indoors, they should give many decades of service!!
Q: What if I absolutely must use it outdoors?
Occasional outdoor use is fine, as long as it's not in direct sunlight or rain, or extreme temperatures - your results may vary, so please be careful, and don't do it too often. Of course, the good thing is that our signs are pretty inexpensive, so if it does become damaged, it doesn't cost too much for a
replacement.
If you plan to use it near water, or in an outdoor vendor booth, for example, we cannot guarantee how long (or short) its life will be. It could wear out quickly or become warped, or the inks could get wet.
How long will it take to get my sign?
We advertise that it will take approximately two weeks.
This is counted from the time you pay for it, and all personalized info is ready (please don't forget to send us your personalized name information, or there will be a delay!). Our signs are made-to-order, and the crafting process takes approximately 3 days, or longer, if something goes wrong. Believe it or not, this is a very tricky process we use! Things can go wrong at any time, right up till it is ready for shipping, so in some rare cases, a finished sign may need to be discarded and started over from scratch.
Sometimes it is less than 2 weeks, but it can sometimes take more than 2 weeks. So if you have a special deadline, it is a good idea to ask us before you order, to make sure we can get it to you in time!

Is every sign made-to-order?
Yes, even the ones that are not personalized. We don't have a warehouse or a "real" store anywhere. We just make them fresh all the time!
Why can't you ship my sign immediately?
Because our signs are "made fresh" when you order them, and it takes at least a few days for the crafting process, we just can't do it.
Is rush shipping available?
Unfortunately, no.
