***GRADING - Strict, accurate, experienced grading using Overstreet standards. We tend to stick to the original Overstreet grading guide published prior to 2003. Using this method, a small amount of tape may be on comics up to the VG range. Additionally, a coupon may be cut out of the interior or back cover on GD range comics. Normally, if one large defect dramatically effects a grade from being a higher grade, we will note that... For example: Comic ZZZ GD (coupon out interior page, otherwise FI).

HOW WE LIST ITEMS FOR SALE:

Currently we list the majority of our items for sale in grade ranges. This means that if you order an item in the "FA/GD to GD+" grade range, then you will get your comic anywhere in that range (it could be GD- or GD, etc.). We do not guarantee that the item will be at the high end or low end of the range. However, we have occasionally been known to send out higher graded comics at no extra charge when we run out of comics in the stated range.

MISCELLANEOUS:

We have recently begun using the terms 'abt' or 'about' in the grade listing for inventoried comics. This means that the comic listed will be within a quarter grade (up or down) of the stated grade. For example: If we list an item as 'about Fine', it would be from FI-/FI to FI/FI+ range. We feel this is a very solid way to list an item, because we know that even the best graders cannot grade the exact same comic to the exact same grade every time, not to mention comics graded by multiple graders. However, we do feel that a quarter grade up or down is strict and reasonable, and offers a very fair representation to the end customer.

Unless otherwise stated, all items are 1st printings. Items marked "new", or without a grade are VF/NM or better. Presealed bags may be opened, but all contents will be included, unless otherwise stated. Grade includes any defects.

We also offer comics that may be graded by third party grading services (such as CGC), and they will normally be identified as such, and priced accordingly. We do not guarantee the contents of these items if the case is opened/tampered with.

All items get at least 2 inspections before they reach our customers. One detailed inspection during inventorying, and a second inspection as the item is being readied to ship to the customer. This helps to prevent mistakes, and allows us a chance to contact the buyer in case we find any mistakes. With the exception of 3rd party graded items, all items also get a thorough inspection inside - especially looking for missing stamps/coupons, pencil/pen especially on games, etc., and a complete page count on every single comic regardless of value or age. Far too often we have received comics from large dealers/businesses with interior page defects like missing coupons, or missing pages or centerfolds not stated - so we are very fussy about that sort of thing. You shouldn't get many unexpected suprises when buying from us.

We also scan valuable, and some random comics on the way out the door. This is a security precaution which prevents fraudulent returns by folks who buy one comic, and then try to switch comics and return a different copy than the one they actually ordered from us. We gladly accept returns (if returned as outlined in our Warranty) without question, though we do appreciate an explanation so we can fix any problem and regrade as needed.

Items must be returned in condition sent. We do not accept returns of items that have left the possession of the original customer.
