OLIVE WOOD crafting have been produced in TUNISIA since many centuries. Tunisian OLIVE WOOD counts as one of the best, rare and most beautiful olive wood in the world, as it has been always known with the distinctive red pigment in its grain which creates

a wonderful nice honey color. All carvings we produce of this hard wood have a varying and smooth grain, making every piece extraordinarily unique and no two are alike. It is very diffic ult to match the grain of two pieces. As the tree ages, the wood will become darker and richer in color thus making it even more beautiful. You can estimate the age of a particular piece by examining its grain. Very old trees have a dark grain while younger trees exhibit a lighter color.

After certain age the olive tree becomes damaged and unproductive and to keep up with the peace of nature, very old trees has to be replaced with a new ones. So we only use in our work the largest salvageable branches.

IN THIS PROCESS NO YOUNG TREE IS EVER DAMAGED OR DESTROYED .
