Some dolls are Chubby and others Slender.  Measure your doll to see what group your doll belongs in.  HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES:  Size 8/10" Chubby toddler dolls include Alexander-kins, Ginny; Ginger, Muffie, and Wendy; Size 8/10" Little girl slender include Ann Estelle, Betsy McCall.  Size 11/12" dolls include Effanbee Fashion (slender), Shirley Temple (chubby);  Size 13/14" dolls include Betsy McCall (slender); Mary Hoyer (slender);  Size 15-16" dolls include Terri Lee (chubby); Saucy Walker (chubby); Posie (chubby);  Size 17-18" dolls include Ann Estelle (slender); Betsy McCall (slender); Effanbee Honey (chubby); Roberta/Raving Beauty (chubby); Size 19-20" dolls include Chatty Kathy;  Size 21-22" dolls include Toni (slender); Sweet Sue (slender); Effanbee Honey (Chubby); Saucy Walker (chubby);  Fashion Doll sizes 11.5-12" include Barbie-Types (slender); Miss Ginger (very full-figured); Miss Nancy Ann (full-figured); Little Miss Revlon (full-figured); also, super size Size18" Barbie (slender).

There is a Shirley Temple doll for most any size doll pattern; usually, she is chubby; a few are slender; also, there is a Sweet Sue (slender); Toni (slender) doll for most any size doll pattern.   

Difference between Vintage and Antique:  Vintage doll patterns are around 50 years old.  Antique doll patterns are around 100 years old.
