• What is HID?

HID (High Intensity Discharge) refers to lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. A regular halogen bulb can burn out in as little as 200 hours. HID bulbs are gas filled capsules with a lifespan of nearly 4500 hours. The amount of light output is 3x brighter than standard halogen light. HID bulbs also shine much brighter due to this technology.

• Could I re-install the original halogen bulbs after the XENON HID kit has been installed?

With the growing popularity of leasing vehicles, a big concern is whether or not you can bring the vehicle back to its original factory condition. Our kits install with little or no modifications to your vehicle. If need be, the entire kit can be removed and the original halogen bulbs replaced.

Single beam:

You may need to reverse polarity (positive/negative) in order for your hid system to work properly. This is a very simple procedure. All you need to do is unclip the big plug attached to the bulb, which goes to the ballast, and clip it to the other side. To do this, turn 1 of the 2 bulb plugs or the one of the ballast 180 degrees and plug it back in. Make sure to do this step without the warning canceller plug in.
