Finally, the tank is a beautiful item and looks GREAT! the side panels are very, very nice compared to my old ones and the gas cap looks very nice too. Royal choppers have agreed to supply a new tank on the basis that I pay the postage of £50 , this I have done . Furthermore they have agreed to take the utmost care with the packaging of the new tank when it is dispatched.
Royal Choppers have agreed that I can keep the damaged tank to offset the cost of the additional postage and further import tax . I will need to advertise the tank on ebay to ascertain if it can be sold.
Therefore the matter has been brought to a resolution
