Sboat was gracious enough to accept my offer for this original Mercruiser retrofit kit to install a gear lube reservoir to ensure that my outdrive stays well lubed and reliable. Sboat shipped my purchase promptly and it arrived complete in all the original Mercruiser packaging. Thank you for leaving the comment. The item that was sent was indeed the correct item. We confirmed it with the Mercury Marine as well other dealers that have this in their inventory. The stamping number that you are referencing is the casting stamp from production of the item, not the part number of the item.
