About us
I have been collecting small scale model tanks since the early 1960 s. I wanted to collect at least one each of every model made in the 1/87 to 1/100 scale from the better quality companies such as Roco and Roskopf. Then I found out about others such as Wiking, Eko and Kibri. New companies would also come and go that would add to the collection and the confusion. It didn t take long before I realized that my obsession could easily get out of hand. The wife helped out there, pointing out both that it was an obsession and that it was out of hand.
It seems that she wants to be the only thing that takes up the majority of my retirement time (or maybe she just wanted the storage space). I don t understand her position but I guess that since I desire peace & quiet more than my collection, some of it has to go.
