Due to our large selection of t-shirts at Search4tshirts, we sell t-shirts from tons of different manufacturers. Each manufacturer has sightly different t-shirt measurements. Many of these manufacturers have several different tee shirt styles and the measurements will vary. Please use the size Charts and info below as a guide only. Unfortunately, there is no standardized industry specifications or measurements. However, the following rule-of-thumb, as it relates to chest size/width for adults and ages for youth, is a pretty good guide. Keep in mind that t-shirt styles vary so length and width can vary depending on the style the manufacturer is trying to achieve. Vintage style t-shirts tend to run a little smaller than most tees. Keep this in mind when trying to select a size. The size chart below is based on a Gildan t-shirt which is one of many brands that our t-shirts come on. Other brands include AlStyle, Delta, Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, American Apparel, Next Level, Anvil and more.

We carry a large selection of vintage style t-shirts from Manufacturers such as Junk Food Clothing, American Apparel and Mighty Fine. The size charts below apply to Junk Food t-shirts and are similar for most vintage style t-shirts. Because sizing and cut will vary between fabrications and styles please use this chart as a general guide to compare the various size scales. If you are between sizes we recommend sizing up. Remember use this as a guide and not as exact measurements on every specific t-shirt.

A Note on Womens/Ladies/Juniors T-Shirts

Most of our t-shirts are for women but will fit more like Juniors Sizes. The t-shirt industry has changed over the last 10 years and most t-shirts made for women are these junior styles. Most of our t-shirts fit women in their upper teens, twenties, and thirties depending on your height and weight. Please use the Junk Food size chart above for an estimate on our women's t-shirts as they will fit more like juniors. When in doubt size up. There are also new styles we sell such as Tunic t-shirts, off the shoulder t-shirts, boyfriend t-shirts, smile and flirt tee shirts among others.
