SPECTRUM-INDIA is a small store located in Providence, RI. From a small store to a national wholesaler.
1967-Our 1st retail store, EMPORIUM-INDIA, OPENS in Providence, RI, importing traditional Indian clothes/handicrafts.
1968-INDIA IMPORTS OF RHODE ISLAND WHOLESALE BUSINESS BEGINS, and first wholesale catalog is published (industry milestone).
1971-SPECTRUM-INDIA OPENS, 5th AV. NYC
1974-Retail stores RENAMED SPECTRUM-INTERNATIONAL to reflect sourcing, which includes Appalachia, Africa, and the Middle East.
1975-India Imports of Rhode Island changes its name to IIRI International, Inc.
1977-ADINI LABEL first appears in ready-to-wear women’s clothes.
1978-INDIA IMPORTS OF RHODE ISLAND FEATURED in Bloomingdales special India Promotion.
1979-ADINI UK OPENS in London.
1980's-ADINI continues national distribution and appears in many NATIONAL DIRECT MAIL CATALOGS.
1990-ADINI VIDEO CATALOGS,(industry milestone)
1994-ADINI EN PLUS LINE-and featured in national magazines.
1998-Website Launched

The best parts of this sale were the patience and communication skills of the Seller! SPECTRUM-INDIA did everything it could to make this a pleasant transaction almost immediately. The loveliest part were the paper mache eggs themselves! Packed in 3 different ways to protect against scrapes,scratches,or bumps, they arrived in 3 days from start to finish Carefully selected as to shape and color,the painting looked like a miniature Eastern Garden.
