eBay store structure
We have grouped our items into eBay store categories to help simplify searching, you can begin at our
store page and use the Store categories
in the left navigation box to browse different styles.
Many of the store categories go three levels deep, for example Mens Shirts > Plain Shirts > Thin Saloo Cotton Plain.
Category tree
The eBay store category system is not very powerful so we have developed a detailed category tree you can
use to filter by product style and various attributes. You can begin at
this link, you should see a list of
high level parent categories and some simple instructions.
You can open and close branches of the category tree by clicking on the plus/minus sign next to a categories title:
Categories that have sub-categories have a folder icon, whereas categories that have no lower level
categories have a file icon. Once you find the level you want to search in click on the categories name
to present the filter selection and link:
You can click on the categories name again to hide these. You can filter at any level of the category tree, including
the parent "Thai Craft Warehouse" level at the very top, which will search our entire catalog.
In addition to finding a category you can add any number of filters. Show and hide the available filters
for a category by clicking on the plus/minus sign that appears below the categories name after you click on it (eg beside the
"No filters selected" text):
This shows the filter groups available for the selected category. Click on the plus sign next to a filter group
to show its available filters:
Click on an individual filters name to add it to your selected filters, click on the name again to remove it. You
can combine any number of filters from as many filter groups as you choose, the following
example will filter the "Mens Shirts > Asian Designs" category by size Small, Medium, or Large, and only long sleeve
designs:
Once you have added all the filters you want click the "on eBay" link to load the results. If you load this in a new
browser tab or window you can return to the category tree page and make adjustments according to the results.
If you do not find the item you are looking for you try to remove filters, or search a wider range, for example if you
are looking for a size XL shirt you might wish to also return size L and XXL shirts then check the measurements to
see if any are suitable for you.
Remember you can search at any level of the tree, if for example you are looking for all Gustav Klimt print items you
could click on the parent "Thai Craft Warehouse" category name, click the plus that appears below to open the filter
groups, click the plus next to the "Artist, Work of Art" group, then click on "Gustav Klimt" to add the filter and
"on eBay" to load the results:
Searching categories higher up the tree will return more results, for example if you were unable to find the shirt
you wanted in "Mens Shirts > Asian Designs", try searching the "Mens Shirts" category.
Variations of a product
Each variation of an item in our catalog is listed as a separate item, sometimes you can use a portion of
the title to find other variations, this is especially useful for finding other sizes for a garment,
we try to keep the title standard across all sizes and only changing the size text in the title.
For example if you find a shirt titled "Mens White szM Shirt China Collar L.Sleeve Thai Button" but you want a
size XXL, try entering "Mens White Shirt China Collar L.Sleeve Thai Button" (excluding quotations) into our
eBay stores search box, this should give you listings for all in stock sizes.
Sometimes titles are a bit more complicated, you can increase your search results be removing more words from the
title, for example searching for "White China Collar Thai Button".
Finding the same items on our website
Sometimes you will want to search our web-store, www.thaicraftwarehouse.com to find an item we listed on eBay,
for example when that item has sold out and is no longer listed on eBay but you want to see data for it. If you copy
the eBay listings full title into the search box on our website it should find the item you are looking for:
